Statement on the Manchester Synagogue attack

Last night, during Yom Kiper, a Manchester shul and its congregants were attacked.

This was an antisemitic hate crime. It has made the world worse. A better world is possible, for all humanity.

We are reminded of Marek Edelman's words: "hate is easy, love requires effort and dedication."

We are thinking of the victims and we extend our condolences at this very painful time.
